Empire City Casino at Yonkers Raceway is actively recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager. The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of all internal and external financial reporting, especially as it relates to the SEC 10-Q and 10-K filings. Responsibilities also include researching new technical accounting pronouncements to ensure full and proper disclosure in the external financial statements and working closely with external auditors on reporting matters. The Financial Reporting Manager will also oversee the monthly financial close process; quarterly and annual financial presentations; and the accounting staff.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of three years SEC reporting experience, CPA and experience in the gaming industry are preferred. Candidate must have excellent Excel skills and must be proficient in all other MS Office programs. Candidate must have strong analytical and organizational skills and be able to communicate effectively. Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as determined by business needs.
